Internal bushing current transformers are designed to be mounted inside circuit breakers, power transformers, and other apparatus, either under oil or in protected chambers.

Units are generally custom-designed to the customer’s specification in regards to ratings, leads, and outer wrapping.

While these type current transformers are normally sold as to OEMs for inclusion in their equipment, AREVA can also manufacture units for field replacement.
